Recent Additions to my Wardrobe

Sunday, 20 August 2017

I had such high hopes for this top but sadly it is very low quality and a bad fit. I might try to stitch it back up again since it has already ripped by the arm but we'll see... The pattern and silhouette are so pretty though..
For my trip to Barcelona, I scoured everywhere to try and find a midi length skirt (preferably pleated or a wrap skirt) and just before giving up I wandered into Gina Tricot and found this little beauty. So flattering, feminine and flowy.
A unique and eye catching romper in a red and white gingham from ASOS.
After doing some research and hearing such good things about The Ordinary, I purchased some of their products: Coverage Foundation, Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%, Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2% and their Advanced Retinoid 2%.
This Pull & Bear piece has been my favourite piece while in Barcelona, it is an off the shoulder/bardot top with stripes and frilled edges as well as a low back that is tied together with a bow. So, so pretty.
Last but not least, THESE BOOTS. I mean, look at them... black lacquered ankle boots with a heel that is going to be perfect for autumn; layered with either tights, a skirt, nice sweater and a jacket or some relaxed straight jeans with a cute top and warm jacket. Even more excited than ever for autumn!

Pastel in Södermalm

Pinafore - Monki, Blouse - Pull & Bear, Bag - Kappahl, Shoes - Adidas
Ida and I reconvened after our trip to Copenhagen for pancakes in Södermalm and (of course) a mini photo shoot to capture the last bare legged outfit for the season as autumn draws near with all it brings: sweaters, boots, falling leaves and plenty of assignments. I hope you too cherish these last days of warmth (aka 22 degrees because summer decided to skip Sweden this year).

Parc Guell
A view of Barcelona

 The crowded beaches of Barcelona

Brunch at Travel & Cake consisting of pancakes and iced lattes

Parc de la Ciutadella

And one final shot from the lovely streets. The city was so lovely although not as expected. Since it was so hot (around 33 degrees and incredibly humid) with a lot of people and limited photo opportunities, I was unable to capture any outfits of the trip. However, keep your eyes peeled for the next couple of days as there should be one or two appearing from Stockholm.

To Barcelona

Wednesday, 2 August 2017

Tomorrow I will be on a plane with two lovely friends on our way to Barcelona, Spain. I am very excited for some warm weather, new cultural experiences and seeing what Barcelona has to offer! Look out for more on the blog for the next couple of days.
