A Rainy Day in CPH

Friday, 28 July 2017

Jacket - H&M, Trousers - Kappahl, Shirt - The Shirt Company, Bag - Unknown
My final day in Copenhagen- so rainy, grey and misty but still beautiful and exciting in its own way. After popping on a shirt I borrowed/stole from my dad, Ida and I went out on the town to get some breakfast at Gröd: a trendy little place in Norrebro that exclusively serves porridge. Hence, this photo shoot. By the way, the porridge was delicious!

Copenhagen in Pictures

Tuesday, 25 July 2017

A large collection of our trip to Copenhagen. Ida and I had so much fun! We ate brunch at various hotspots, took a boat tour through the city, wandered through the streets (stopped at so many Matas along the way) and tried our best to take the city by storm!

Pinafore - Cooperative, blouse - Kappahl, bag - Unknown, shoes - The March, sunnies - Ray Bans
I am back from Copenhagen! We came in last night and were oh so tired after three days of adventure, coffee stops and (reluctantly) running through the rain. Check back in within the next few days for more photos from Copenhagen!

H&M bathing suit
A round straw "chubby" bag
Navy sandals from The March via Asos
After some serious online shopping, I finally found a few dream wardrobe pieces before Ida and I head off to Copenhagen. I had been looking for a colour blocked flattering bathing suit (preferably in red) a la Baywatch style before finally finding this lil' beaut. The straw bag is a fashion piece turned trend that, (if you were a reader of my last blog) you know that I have been obsessing over for quite some time. And finally, just in time for the warm weather (if it ever arrives) I purchased these sliders/ flat mules/sandals/whatever else you could call them from Asos for a fraction of the original price. Score!

Packing for cph

Tuesday, 18 July 2017

I am so excited! Tomorrow morning, about 6:30, Ida and I will be sitting on a train on our way to Copenhagen for a short trip filled with coffee, photos on Nyhavn and bike trips through the city. I am so excited.

My Favourite Jewellery Pieces

Tuesday, 11 July 2017

Gold triangle studs from Brandy Melville
I bought these beauties last year so they won't be available at Brandy anymore (sorry) which you can clearly tell from the scratches and wear and tear on their surface. These ear jackets are a three piece set with two triangles and a backing, one sitting below the earbud and one through your piercing that looks really unique and allows many compliments to come your way.

Gold ring from H&M
I bought this little ring on a whim at H&M and have worn it so many times since then, leading me to become more and more of a ring person and wanting to invest in some more expensive pieces in a similar style. Although I have a neutral undertone, I wear more gold pieces (such as this one) because they match my the colours that I chose to wear much more than the majority of silvers.

Asymmetrical earrings from Mango
These are probably my absolute favourite earrings that I own. I even included them in my own stylist photoshoot since I loved them so much! They are unique, create a statement while being simple enough to go with each and every outfit. If I could, I would probably wear these every day but that wouldn't provide much variety haha!

Heart shaped hoops from Asos
These gold plated sterling silver hoops are a little difficult to put on since you have to open the thin wires and then close them back after putting them through your ear. However, they are simple, small and sit securely in your ear while providing a little surprise since they take the shape of a heart in profile.

Birkenstocks & a Red Pinafore

Sunday, 9 July 2017

Pinafore - Cooperative, Turtleneck - H&M, Bag - Rebecca Minkoff, Shoes - Birkenstocks

This little red piece of fabric, known as a pinafore, is probably one of my top three favourite items of clothing in my wardrobe. It is comfortable, fashionable and relatively short in length without making you victim to a strong gust of wind. I picked this up at Urban Outfitters last autumn and have been wearing it obsessively wearing ever since. Love it!

My June Vlog

Monday, 3 July 2017

A month of summer has already passed (and as usual, it was oh so fast) and I have piled a few clips together in a short little video compilation. Since I've been working a lot this month, I haven't been able to do too much which is reflected in the vlog but July will be different (hint: Copenhagen)....
